Why you should join the Adyen Integration Enablement Team

Adyen is growing fast and the Integration Enablement team builds products to help customers integrate fast and efficiently into its APIs and test their integration. The team works on products like surfacing the quality of their integration before going live to various kinds of simulators. We work closely with our customers, regularly meeting them and talking to developers from their side. As the world moves towards more AI, this team is at the forefront of how integration experience is evolving between companies and LLM agents. This engineering team is embedded within our Developer Experience group in the Customer Experience organization.

What You’ll Do:

  • You will be primarily working on the user interfaces for the team using VueJS to help us scale our business by providing the best possible user experience for users of our product.
  • You will be responsible for the full life cycle of your developments. This includes architecture, communicating with stakeholders to understand requirements (product owners, product designers, merchants etc), automated testing, iterating purposefully, and monitoring the impact of your projects. You will collaborate with backend developers on API design and user flows.
  • You will have the freedom to identify and improve parts of the platform to make it more consistent, robust and scalable.
  • There are Frontend developers in many teams and there are a few core teams that enable the larger frontend community. Keeping in sync with this group is important for maintaining our scalability. You will collaborate across streams and time zones and all frontenders can contribute architecturally to core components as well leading to a short path to having a large impact.  

Who You Are:

  • You have at least 5+ years of experience with building things in JavaScript and solid experience in Vue.js.
  • You recognize yourself in the Adyen Formula: being open minded, having a proactive attitude, always trying to make it work while keeping the bigger picture in mind.
  • You actively share your knowledge and enthusiasm to develop yourself and your team.
  • You are comfortable with asking and receiving constructive feedback from your colleagues regularly.
  • You’re able to independently gather technical requirements and create a plan to execute those requirements.
  • You are not allergic to backend code.
  • You are a strong team player, you like to connect and communicate in person with your team members and other stakeholders to come to the best solution.
  • You are available to travel to Amsterdam to our HQ 2 times a year.
  • Office First Culture: We love working together! Due to our hybrid work model, we expect you to come to the office at least three days per week.
  • Able to communicate in English
