Our engineers are reshaping the payments landscape. We’re looking for more talented problem solvers to help us address a unique set of challenges.
We process millions of payments, deploy large-scale models to identify fraudulent payment behavior, and manage a fleet of point-of-sale terminals in the field. We organize our work around goal-oriented groups, called streams. These are co-lead by developers to ensure their input at every step of the development process.
Jaeha, Implementation Management
“There are many reasons why I tell my friends that I love working at Adyen, but most of all, I feel like there are no boundaries for Adyen whatsoever. We interact with different teams and different offices on a daily basis and we really look after each other.”
Akanksha, Software Development
“Being from a non-payment background, I always used to wonder what happens behind the "Your Transaction Is Processing" status. I got the opportunity to not only learn but also to contribute and impact payments around the globe. As a developer, I am given end-to-end responsibility for my features from day one, which gives me freedom to explore and implement different solutions. Every day I walk into the office thinking about the next challenge!”
“Adyen is a global company, but we do everything related to infrastructure as one team. To solve problems we don’t raise tickets, we walk over and talk to each other. What I love about Adyen is that even though I’m a Linux System Engineer, I regularly get the opportunity to work on projects that widen my knowledge about infrastructure.”
Sharanya, Business Analytics
“I’ve truly had an international experience. I’ve had the opportunity to live in Amsterdam and San Francisco, working in Adyen’s HQ and US offices with people from all around the world. Adyen truly cares for their employees. What I like most about Adyen is the amazing people I work with, everyone here is smart and passionate about what they do.”
“Every payment made via Adyen goes through lines of code that I’ve written. Isn’t this a milestone for any developer? The first time a feature I implemented was enabled is a moment that I will never forget. As I made a payment of my own, knowing it was running through a feature I’d built, the feeling of accomplishment was huge.”
Jone, Technical Support
“From the first moment I entered the Adyen office for my interview, I was amazed by the great atmosphere within the company. Even though I knew little about payments, I felt welcomed and learnt so much about this emerging universe. I’m excited to be part of a team that is able to answer all kinds of technical questions about our platform, jump on client meetings to explain the best ways to integrate with us, and troubleshoot live incidences over the day.”
“It’s so incredibly rewarding when your first products go live, getting to a see a tangible impact of all your hard work. With payments, you can see the monetary benefits that your products generate, and because of the scale that Adyen operates at, they’re pretty big numbers.”
Vivienne, Technical Support
“As a Support Superstar you are at the heart of Adyen. Being a technical problem solver everyday makes my work as a Technical Support Engineer awesome! My favourite thing about being at Adyen is the speed that we maintain and great atmosphere, which personally makes my engine go even faster.”
Bengisu, Software Development
“During my interview I was asked why I wanted to join Adyen. My answer was that I wanted to be part of a company that implements a product that makes people's lives easier. After I started working at Adyen, I discovered many more things that motivate me to come to work every day. As part of the development team I love the freedom to choose what I work on, as well as the involvement in the full product life cycle, which allows me to see different perspectives and challenges me continuously. Working on the bigger picture enables me to improve my personal skills as much as my technical skills.”
