Senior Marketing Manager, Media 

The Senior Marketing Manager for Media in North America will leverage advertising and paid media to increase brand awareness and consideration for Adyen in the United States and Canada. This role will develop media strategies and guide both the marketing organization and our media agency to execute plans that strengthen Adyen’s position as a market leader. The ideal candidate is savvy with brand advertising, data analysis and optimization, and collaboration. Integrated marketing experience, brand and messaging strategy, and agency management are a must. 

What you’ll do:

  • Develop media strategies that align to brand awareness objectives for US and Canada
  • Manage media buying and planning process across target audiences and media channels (including TV, digital media, OOH and search)
  • Manage media agency team, and assess agency recommendations to ensure high ROI
  • Track and report on media performance with data-backed insights, implications and recommendations to optimize media campaigns and deliver on goals
  • Identify opportunities to test new channels and evolve existing advertising strategies  
  • Manage budget and internal resources to ensure timely and successful delivery of projects
  • Partner with global teams to share knowledge, develop best practices and achieve efficiencies to contribute to a one-Adyen presence worldwide

Who you are:

  • 5+ years experience in media strategy and advertising
  • Strong project manager with a focus on hitting brand awareness goals through savvy mixed media and strong messaging
  • Ability to tell a story with data, articulate what’s working and what’s not, and set a vision for how we’ll further evolve our media and advertising approach
  • Proactive and collaborative with a global team
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally, 20%
