Sales Academy Manager

In this role you will drive the global sales training initiatives for our sales force. Making sure they embed the Adyen sales culture, learn from the best and continuously grow in their sales role.

The Adyen Sales Academy is here to develop and grow the best sales force in the tech industry. Our programs are focused on the skills to sell the value of our solution. For every training, we put our top performers on stage to share their successes and experiences. We aim to scale performance in this way.

What you’ll do

  • For the larger part, you will run Sales Academy training programs starring our internal sales trainers (experienced sales executives). This entails:
    • Hosting, moderating and facilitating many sales trainings online and across our offices globally;
    • Creating new programs and sessions for various sales audiences (sales managers, sales team leads, high sales performers etc.) and topics;
    • Getting our internal sales trainers on board for sessions (we have a large group who loves to do this) and setting them up for success;
    • Continuously innovating the training programs and sessions to adjust to business needs 
  • Build relationships with and grow our pool of internal sales trainers (one of our most important resources)
  • Foster and expand our knowledge sharing community.

 Who you are

  • Experience in a new business sales role for at least 3 years;
  • Eager to enter the learning & development space;
    • Experience or education in this field is a plus
  • Motivation to work closely in a small team;
  • You are excited to think about what the future of the Sales Academy should look like;
  • You love to host trainings;
  • You have the ‘roll up your sleeves’-mentality;
  • You think in scalable solutions;
  • Great communicator and passionate about helping others;
  • Connecting people and the dots;
  • You are available to travel globally;
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Please note that this role is a full-time position in Amsterdam. It will require a relocation in case you live outside of the Netherlands.
