Adyen is looking for a VP Product for the Platform Engineering group to help our engineering organization scale. As a member of the leadership team, you will play a critical role in shaping the product organization within the Platform Engineering group, enabling engineers to quickly and autonomously build for our customers, at massive scale and speed. ​​You will use your technical expertise to provide strategic direction that sets the vision for the common technical platform at Adyen. 


What you’ll do:

• Grow, manage, and shape the team of product managers;
• Organise the platform engineering teams around products and services, and develop a product team culture based on shared standards;
• Create and own the strategic product vision centered on user value;
• Communicate with stakeholders throughout the organization and understand their needs, including all Adyen engineers, business managers and commercially oriented teams to ensure the goals are clear and the vision is aligned with business objectives.
• Defining strategic goals for Platform Engineering products, and continuously measure and communicate our progress towards them.

Competencies and experience

• 10+ years cumulative experience working as a Head of Product, (Technical) Product Manager / Product Owner, or comparable role in an infrastructure or engineering department;
• Proven experience overseeing all elements of the product development lifecycle;
• History of successfully defining and managing a product roadmap, launching and scaling technical products in a fast-paced engineering environment
• Experience in scaling and growing effective and well managed product teams
