Monitoring Operations Analyst

We are looking for an experienced specialist to join our Monitoring Operations team. As part of the Monitoring Operations team in Amsterdam you will be working closely with Risk, Account Management, Compliance, and other Merchant Operations teams.

What you’ll do

  • Work on a broad variety of operational risk management topics with the possibility to specialize and take ownership of your own projects;
  • Monitor fraud and chargeback levels for the global portfolio and provide proactive notifications to wider Risk Teams, merchants, and relevant stakeholders;
  • Perform content monitoring for the global portfolio in order to ensure our merchant portfolio is not providing prohibited products or services;
  • Transform and use data to drive powerful decision-making and keep an holistic overview of our customer portfolio;
  • Optimize and document processes and workflows;
  • Deliver insights in the form of dashboards or reports of operational and compliance objectives. 

Who you are

  • Fluent spoken and written English;
  • 2+ years professional working experience;
  • You have knowledge or a good understanding of risk management in a regulated industry;
  • You like to work in a high-paced environment where there may be a need to quickly shift priorities;
  • You are able to work both on your own and with others, taking ownership where your knowledge is needed. At the same time you are a strong collaborator who is comfortable with connecting with colleagues across different teams and cultures, sharing ideas to improve efficient teamwork;
  • Experience with Python, SQL, and/or Pyspark is a plus.

Please note that this role is a full-time position in Amsterdam. It will require a relocation in case you live outside of the Netherlands.
