Senior Data Analyst

We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join our Revenue Operations Analytics team. The ideal candidate is someone that has a structured, technical and analytical approach to solving complex problems, translating insights into scalable, actionable data products.

This role will focus on two key areas: leveraging technical expertise to enhance team efficiency and enable self-service analytics for the Commercial organization, and providing actionable insights to guide and improve decision-making. Additionally, the analyst will drive automation and scalability projects.

What you'll do

  • Technical Contributions: Collaborate with internal analytics teams to develop and optimize Revenue Operations data pipelines using PySpark and other big data tools. Create and enhance ETLs to ensure data consistency and reliability. Design LookML models and build Looker dashboards.
  • Data Quality and Governance: Develop and maintain a data governance strategy that ensures data quality and reliability. Own technical documentation, creating detailed and consistent records for data processes, models, and pipelines. Act as the technical subject matter expert for the Revenue Analytics team, providing troubleshooting support as needed.
  • Automation and scalability: Automate reporting processes to drive scalability in projects and products, such as Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs).
  • Data Insights: Convert data into formats optimized for analysis to support commercial challenges that are faced by regional teams.
  • Project Management: Identify business data needs, translate them into technical requirements, and ensure infrastructure and pipelines are in place for data collection and integration.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional data teams to develop scalable and reusable frameworks for evaluating large datasets on pressing business questions. Work closely with other Revenue Operations teams, such as the Tooling & Integration team, to align on data and technical initiatives.

Who you are

Must haves:

  • 4+ years of experience in Data Analytics.
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL for data analysis and processing.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within a global, multicultural team.
  • Experience with analytical and statistical techniques, including both descriptive and predictive analytics (e.g., distributions, correlations, hypothesis testing, regression analysis).
  • Data wrangling expertise: skilled in cleaning, transforming, and organizing large datasets, handling missing data, detecting outliers, and ensuring data integrity.
  • Strong analytical skills: adept at extracting meaningful insights from complex datasets and translating them into actionable recommendations.
  • Availability for business trips: As a global company with a significant portion of the team based in Amsterdam and San Francisco, flexibility for work-related travel is required to support collaboration on projects and other initiatives that may require in-person engagement.

Nice to haves:

  • Experience working with commercial teams, particularly in B2B companies that rely on commercial data for informed decision-making.
  • Familiarity with big data tools such as Spark and Airflow.
  • A background in econometrics, data science, engineering, or other quantitative studies.
