Office Manager - Chicago

Our newly-opened Chicago location is expanding quickly and we are looking for an enthusiastic Office Manager to help us run a smooth office. The ideal candidate is a highly organized person; a hands-on, creative thinker who is great at communicating and responsive to evolving business needs. Proactivity and autonomy are key to our culture.

What you’ll do

  • Manage the facilities of our brand new WeWork office in Chicago’s Fulton Market neighborhood
  • Maintain an organized and welcoming reception area for every person that enters the space
  • Act as a liaison with WeWork facility management
  • Partner with IT Department to maintain office technical infrastructure
  • Assist with new hire onboarding for Chicago and remote employees, recognition efforts for current employees, and other People-related initiatives
  • Oversee employee travel platform and assist with travel booking inquiries
  • Maintain office equipment for uninterrupted function
  • Identify and fulfill office supply needs, manage external vendors, and coordinate catering
  • Plan and execute internal events, parties and meetings
  • Drive global office management initiatives locally

  • Hands-on problem solver who can make their own decisions when needed

Your background

  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Outstanding organizational skills
  • Minimum 3 years experience working in a similar role in a relevant field
  • Experience in event organization is a bonus 
  • The ability to work on-site daily in our Fulton Market office
