Commercial Operations & Analytics lead, APAC

As a Commercial Operations & Analytics lead, APAC, you are responsible for aligning the APAC commercial goals and helping the teams with the realization. You work together with Sales, Marketing, Account Management & Partnerships teams to ensure alignment and help them succeed. 

In summary, your goal is to optimize the commercial operation. Your aim is to enable them to focus on doing their job as efficiently and effectively as possible. You will find yourself designing, executing and managing cross-functional projects touching several commercial teams across the APAC region.

As Adyen has a strong focus to keep things simple and create global standards for our commercial operations, you’ll report into the Global Commercial Enablement function in Amsterdam to bring the global projects to the region. As well be the voice of the region.

What you’ll do

  • Work together with the Global Commercial Enablement team on global projects related to optimizing ways of working in the commercial teams, usage of commercial tools and analytics:
    • Commercial tools: Be the champion of different commercial tools (Salesforce, Marketo, Salesloft, etc) unlocking their power and, helping local teams with operational flows driving user adoption and measuring performance. 
    • Analytics: Analyzing data in order to track performance against commercial goals as well insights into how we can increase efficiency and success 
    • Global standards: Working very closely with the central function in Amsterdam, to fully leverage the global standards and make sure they land well in the region, as well help to improve the global ways of working in the commercial team standards
  • Commercial initiatives: help defining follow-up actions with commercial leads based on your insights
  • Co-create growth plans with the regional team: Doing market research, identify verticals, analyze pipelines and identify opportunities to grow.
  • Bringing in the mindset that the way we do things is founded on data; we measure and learn, always with the purpose of showing how we can get the most out of the commercial roles.

Who you are

  • 5+ years of experience working in a data driven commercial role or (strategy) consulting
  • You are experienced in in telling compelling and actionable data driven narratives
  • You have the skills to convert insights into tangible output such as optimized processes, tools, programs, reports & dashboards or trainings
  • You embrace hands-on operational implementation of your data solutions to drive change
  • Experience with Salesforce 
    • Any other commercial tools a big plus (Sales Navigator, Zoom info, Marketo etc)
  • You have the ability to work in a high pace environment where you have lots of autonomy and need to prioritize and continuously evaluate how to maximize your impact
  • Commercial, proactive and collaborative mindset 
  • Team lead experience (or ambitions) is a plus
  • Comfortable working with a global team and willing to travel
