Business Analyst, Pricing

Pricing in the global acquiring team you will be at the core of Adyen’s growth by implementing the latest payment features and specifications, and by continuously finding new optimisation opportunities through data. In our Global Acquiring team you will work closely with our global teams including Sales & Account Management, Partnerships, Finance and Compliance.

What you’ll do:

• Data: Identify the necessary data required to address questions, extract the required data, and perform analysis;
• Develop the best possible pricing models for our merchants and educate and support sales and account management;
• Help our merchants understand and optimise the cost and revenue impacts of interchange and scheme fees;
• Monitor and implement relevant pricing changes timely, including clear communication internally and externally.

Who you are:

• Academically trained in preferably a quantitative field such as Econometrics, Statistics, or a technical major;
• Detail oriented and you want to deliver high quality work;
• You have a technical aptitude to address issues;
• You have experience in examination of data and automating complex data handling through SQL, Python and/or R;
• You have experience in data visualisation assets such as Looker, Tableau;
• Excellent in communication of complex data or technical functionality with commercial teams and Adyen’s merchants;
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment that requires excellent time management and the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively;
• Fluent in conversational and written English on a professional level;
• 0-3 years of work experience.

Please, note that this role is a full-time position in Amsterdam. It will require a relocation in case you live outside of the Netherlands.
