Head of Data Analytics EMEA

Adyen is looking for a passionate and experienced Head of Data Analytics to massively scale our ability to convert data into value for our customers. You have a proven track record in the analytics space and can demonstrate a solid technical aptitude, as well as your ability maturing the discipline, building out teams, the strategy that binds them and drives them to excel. You will create and evangelize a vision that touches product analytics across many of Adyen’s products, UX analytics, as well as our team interfacing with and supporting our customer base directly. Our merchants are the fastest growing companies in the world, and we need to stay ahead of their needs as we guide them through the fast paced environment that fintech has to offer. In this role you will:

  • Work with a plethora of stakeholders to align on strategy and vision for data analytics at Adyen
  • Work with merchants and internal teams to understand their data needs and how to best stay ahead of them
  • Work on career and leadership development for various data analytics roles within Adyen
  • Lead a passionate analytics leadership team, and support their prioritization and resourcing efforts
  • Collaborate with analytics leaders across other regions to create alignment

What you need to succeed

  • Proven record - Demonstrable past experience in a similar role at a previous company. Experience in the payments industry is a plus.
  • Technical aptitude - Technical and have a good understanding of all components of an analytical data pipeline. You understand the importance of data accuracy, automation and scaling, and can translate business needs into robust data models and solutions.
  • Leadership - you have directly managed teams and you also have significant experience in scaling data teams in (preferably) a large, global company as management lead.
  • Communication - You have great verbal and written communication skills, and are comfortable talking to tech & non-tech, as well as merchants and internal stakeholders from every part of the business
  • Network - you leverage your own network to hire, influence, validate, and get product adoption.

Please, note that this role is a full-time position in Amsterdam. It will require a relocation in case you live outside of the Netherlands.
