Reporting Analyst

Our Reporting team is looking for a Reporting Analyst with experience in the payments and/or finance industry. The Reporting team within Group Finance is responsible for financial reporting and external reporting to regulators. As Adyen grows, so does the amount and complexity of regulation, so we are looking for an enthusiastic colleague to help us navigate this constantly evolving landscape. You must be able to work as a business partner with a wide range of teams, including finance, risk, legal, and compliance, and provide pragmatic advice and guidance to build sustainable growth.

You will join a relatively small team and will be given responsibility early on to contribute to a wide range of topics and make a substantial impact on the growth of Adyen. You should be proactive and comfortable taking the initiative to further improve our reporting processes.

What you’ll do

• Work on preparation of financial reports, such as half and full-year financial statements, in accordance with IFRS, as well as recurring regulatory reports to the regulators;
• Support the annual report process and other relevant internal and external financial and non-financial information;
• Contribute to the regular monthly management reporting processes;
• Assist with the external audit process throughout the year;
• Lead technical accounting regulatory analysis on new products;
• Monitor changes in accounting standards and regulations applicable to Adyen, and coordinate with other functions the implementation of such changes;
• Translate the impact from complex transactions into financial and regulatory reporting;
• Strengthen connections between the business and reporting team, understanding the impact of new products or areas of expansion, supporting business growth through regulatory strategy.
  
  

Who you are

• You have between 3 - 5 of years’ experience in accounting/audit/financial reporting function;
• University degree, preferably a Chartered Accountant;
• Your knowledge of the finance and/or payment industry is well established;
• Comfortable talking straight and challenge the status quo, specifically with the ability to interact with a variety of internal and external stakeholders from varying disciplines and cultures;
• Self-driven and proactive, always searching for ways to translate the regulatory requirements to Adyen’s perspective.

Please, note that this role is a full-time position in Amsterdam. It will require a relocation in case you live outside of the Netherlands.
