Communications team

The communications team crafts and executes Adyen’s global communications strategy – encompassing corporate positioning and reputation- and stakeholder management. The team interacts on a daily basis with a wide range of external parties, such as investors, analysts, regulators and other public stakeholders, journalists, and customers. This is a board-adjacent team that operates at the forefront of the business. We always look for the most powerful way to convey our messaging, and there’s a lot of room for creativity. Therefore, we are looking for a clever and creative Corporate Content Manager to join the Communications team. 

What you’ll do

  • You will be responsible for crafting the public materials that underpin the execution of our global communications strategy (e.g. half-yearly shareholder letters, annual reports, and global press releases), and own the process of gathering content for these projects too. You will work closely with Adyen’s Management Board, and our Investor Relations, Financial Reporting, Marketing, and in-house Design teams. 
  • You will aid in the production of supporting documents that are foundational to Adyen’s interactions with external stakeholders (e.g. reporters, investors, regulators, and other public stakeholders), these include extensive FAQ documents, press briefings and presentation materials.
  • You will own the concepting, launch, and content roadmap of our investor relations blog, where you will work with a broad range of internal teams to provide a clear overview of how Adyen views topics that matter to the business – from strategy to product, operations to sustainability, and beyond. 
  • You will work closely with the internal communications team on internal messaging and tone-of-voice for key business topics and leadership personas, and help craft and review these documents too. 

Who you are

  • You have relevant, proven experience as a producer of high-quality content, as a journalist, or in communications more broadly.
  • You have excellent writing skills – and know how to condense the most complex topics into easy-to-understand content and can easily code switch based on the audience in question.
  • You are a capable communicator – written and verbal native-level command of the English language and strong storytelling skills are key to succeeding in this role.
  • You are a team player, and comfortable interacting with stakeholders across all levels of seniority. 
  • Flexible & fast – you enjoy getting things done in a fast-paced environment and know how to prioritize, especially when meeting tight deadlines.
